Simplification is one of the hardest things to do (ironically). Our natural human tendencies constantly want us to shift our focus away from the tasks we aim to do.
There are simply too many distractions.
So many tips, tricks, bells, and whistles swamping our ideas until the very reason why we started something in the first place starts to evaporate.
For simplicity’s sake, we’ve got to distill our ideas down to its purest form. Something so crystal clear that anything else that dilutes the idea will clearly not belong.
If the goal is to clean up the ocean from plastic, support the organizations who are working for the cause, and do your own part to dispose of any other litter you see.
If the goal is to understand the environmental footprint of your daily diet, do just the research on where your food comes from and how it is processed. Find out how your food gets onto your plate and into your body.
If the goal is to live an active lifestyle, pick up physical activities or sports and ensure ways you will be able to achieve your level of activity.
As somebody famously once suggested, just do it. What this post suggests is, simply do it, and that is all.
