Re: The true cost

In an evermore increasing world of fashion production, labour costs, and demand from first world countries, how can the clothes we buy afford to get cheaper and cheaper? Anyone who takes a step back into the fashion production industry can see that things obviously don’t line up and someone/something is suffering. The True Cost is a movie documentary directed by Andrew Morgan that discusses this extensively.

Who benefits and who suffers? And to what extent will our insatiable global north appetite for consumables go to?

There’s no other way to solve these problems if we don’t begin to solve them by our own means.
