Growing joys

Invest into your passions so that you could feed your own joy. Friends who are going through a burnout phase find themselves stuck, unable to progress. When they’re trying the 54th detail-changing iteration of their idea or vision, they can’t seem to make big moves anymore and inject new energy and enthusiasm into.

Perhaps these friends need distractions (no not another Netflix episode or an Instagram scrolling frenzy)—meaningful distractions that serve to inspire. Find new perspectives by reading another’s worldview, go window shopping, observe people around you, study another’s discipline, start a new project, entertain ideas, eat different foods, clean your room, or pick up a new craft. Do things that serve you and those around you well.

Life is too short, so make yourself the star of your own show and let your joys grow.
